Generation IX	This move reduces damage from physical and special moves for five turns. This can be used only when it is snowing.

Aurora Veil is an Ice-type move that reduces the damage the user takes from attacks for five turns.

Aurora Veil can only be used during a hailstorm.

Effects[]

The effects of Aurora Veil are bypassed critical hits, moves that do a set amount of damage or attacks done by Pokémon with Infiltrator.

Cloud Nine and Air Lock will cause Aurora Veil to fail.

Aurora Veil's effects can be removed by the opponent using Brick Break, Defog or Psychic Fangs.

If the user is holding Light Clay, the effects of Aurora Veil will last for eight turns.
